Skate Night Manager (Friday nights, 5+ hours per week): Experience managing teens, adults, and volunteers; and working with kids Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating Self-motivated, independent, good work ethic and time management Ability to take ownership and grow the program over time Provide strong leadership and direction Strong organization and communication Firm understanding of budget and transactions Experience with nonprofit Board of Directors Willingness to work irregular hours and assume other duties as needed Skate Night Kitchen Manager (Friday plus shopping, 10+ hrs per wk): Current Washington State Food Worker Card Experience planning menus, shopping, and food preparation Experience supervising others Good working with teens, kids, and volunteers Experience with cash transactions and money handling Skate Night DJ (Friday nights, 5+ hours per week): Experience with basic sound and light equipment Excellent knowledge of popular music with kids and teens Familiarity with Friday Night Skate atmosphere and games Outgoing personality for making announcements fun Minimum 16 years of age Display enthusiasm, professionalism, and teamwork Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Peninsula tradition! 

Skate   Night   at   the   Key   Peninsula   Civic Center   has   been   a   part   of   growing   up on the KP for more than 40 years. Geared   for   elementary   through   middle school   aged   children,   Skate   Night   is hosted     every     Friday     night     from September    to    June    and    follows    the Peninsula   School   District   schedule   of holidays & breaks. Skate   Night   is   a   safe   &   fun   place   for kids   to   play   every   week.   Once   children are    in    the    building,    they    can’t    exit without a parent or guardian. 

ALL POSITIONS:
