Tennis Calendar

Olympic quality tennis courts at the Civic Center

In   2008,   thanks   to   the   generosity   of   Key   Pen   Parks,   the   US Tennis    Association    Pacific    Northwest    Region    and    the    Key Peninsula   community,   a   $12,000   renovation   of   the   tennis   courts was   completed.      The   courts   are   lovingly   maintain   by   court users,   specifically   called   upon   at   Parks   Appreciation   Day,   to ready the courts for use after the winter.  Citizens   of   the   Key   Peninsula   Community   have   free   access   to the   court   usage   on   a   first-come   basis.      On   occasion,   tennis lessons   are   offered,   in   which   case,   ONE   court   may   be   in   use.      If lessons   are   scheduled   they   will   be   reflected   in   the   calendar below.   The   Civic   Center   respectfully   requests   that   guests   protect   the court   surface   bringing   only   water   for   re-hydration.      Black   soled shoes,   skateboards,   skates,   bikes,   scooters,   or   roller   blades   are NOT allowed. 

Tennis keys

In   an   effort   to   maintain   the   safety   and   security   of   the new   courts,   tennis   keys   are   available   for   a   $10   fee. Keys    are    issued    through    the    main    office    Tuesday    - Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cash or checks only. Single   use   keys   are   also   available   to   check   out   from   the office during regular office hours.
